B U R N E T

Burnet is considered the jewel of the Highland Lakes. It is nestled at the edge of spectacular Texas Hill Country and offers beautiful vistas of the countryside and lake. It was established as a fort as part of the Texas frontier in the mid-1800's and its pioneer and rural charm has been maintained as it is evolving into a modern town.

Burnet is the county seat of Burnet county and is a hub of commerce, trade, and industry for the area. It has modern schools, shopping, hospital and an airport, everything for today's living.

Named the "Bluebonnet Capital of Texas," the hills are beautiful in the springtime.
