B U D A
Buda is known as a friendly, relaxing town that offers a high quality of life available only in a small town. It was formally established in 1881 so it has a great historic feel with cafes and shopping in the original buildings.
With its proximity to Austin and the Texas Hill Country, Buda is experiencing tremendous growth. However, its leaders are managing the growth so it can hold on to its historic roots while it is expanding and moving forward. Many residents work in and around Austin, taking advantage of the easy commute on I-35.
Buda offers inexpensive real estate prices and homes often come with acreage.
Fans of the outdoors will also love living in Buda since there is easy access to rivers, hills, lakes, waterfalls, and parks of the Texas Hill Country. There are endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, camping, and swimming.
BUDA LOCATION and FACTS -- (MLS AREA BA) Buda is located off South I 35 15-20 minutes from downtown Austin.
