Brykerwoods is a very quaint and older central city neighborhood with small cottages mixed in with multi-story homes.  Although much of it was developed in the 1930's-1950's, the area has seen a lot of restoration and rebuilding, as well as some newer homes. The yards are unpretentious, but usually well-kept.

Shopping and restaurants are numerous with some of the best located in the 26 Doors Shopping Center and Jefferson Square. With its central location, there is no end to attractions, restaurants, and things to do.  Residents who enjoy outdoors have the use of parks such as Seider's Springs, Bailey Park, and Shoal Creek.
